Invitation

The National Association of Testing Authorities Australia (NATA), extends an invitation to our APLAC colleagues to attend the 2012 18th APLAC General Assembly and Technical Meetings in Sydney, Australia.

As an inaugural member of APLAC, NATA is pleased and privileged to be hosting APLAC at the time of its 20^th anniversary of foundation.

Our beachside venue is aimed at providing a relaxed environment in which delegates can both pursue the important work of APLAC, and also enjoy Sydney’s early summer!

 

Local Host

NATA is proud to have been a signatory to the inaugural signing of the APLAC MRA for testing and calibration in November 1997.  We have since extended our signatory status to include reference material producers and inspection body accreditation.

We are recognised through an Memorandum of Understanding  by the Australian federal government as Australia’s national laboratory accreditation body, and as a peak body for the accreditation of inspection bodies.

NATA would also like to acknowledge the support provided by the federal government (through the Support for Industry Service Organisations’ funding provided by the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science & Research).  This allows NATA to represent Australia at relevant international accreditation fora and in other relevant activities.
